Safeguarding at The Carlton Junior Academy

We welcome visitors to our
academy and would request, that in order to keep you and the children safe and happy here at TCJA, you carefully read the information in our Safeguarding Children – Guidance for Visitors leaflet (copies are available to pick up next to the signing-in tablet). Our  Designated Safeguarding Lead is Sharon Wood.

Cameras and other Mobile Devices

Please do not use your phone when in our academy, or take any photographs/recordings without the direct permission of the Headteacher (Sharon Wood) or the Deputy Headteachers ( Mrs de Gilbert and Miss Hodgson). Failure to adhere to this request may result in you being asked to leave the premises.

If you are concerned about a safeguarding issue

Tell a member of staff immediately. They will direct you to a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Please write down your concern and give it to a DSL as soon as possible.
